Man dies after falling from 9th floor of condo

The 26-year-old labourer was found lying next to the second-floor swimming pool, say police.

PETALING JAYA:
A Sri Lankan man was found dead after falling from the ninth floor of Mutiara Sentul Condominium in Kuala Lumpur yesterday morning.

Sentul police chief Ahmad Sukarno Zahari said police were informed at 8.40am by members of the public that a man had fallen from the building.

He said checks at the location found that the 26-year-old man had worked as a labourer.

“He was found lying next to the condominium’s second-floor swimming pool. Paramedics from Kuala Lumpur Hospital confirmed his death,” Harian Metro reported him as saying today.

Sukarno said checks at the man’s house found nothing that could be linked to the incident.

“The case has been classified as sudden death,” he said.
