4 nabbed in Penang body in suitcase probe

Police say the suspects, including two women, were arrested in separate locations in Penang and Perak on Tuesday.

Penang police have arrested four people to facilitate their investigation into the murder of a man whose body was found stuffed in a suitcase in Permatang Pauh on Oct 9.

Penang police chief Azizee Ismail said the two men and two women, aged 24 to 32, were arrested separately in several locations in the state and in Perak yesterday.

They have been remanded for seven days to assist in the investigation.

The victim, who had slash marks on his neck, hands bound and head covered in plastic, had been identified as Lee Boon Han, 31, an insurance agent.

He had been reported missing since Oct 8 after having allegedly gone to Perlis for a work trip.
