The performance, which will be held at 4pm at Pavillion, Kuala Lumpur, will feature some 150 participants, comprising celebrities, influencers, university students and orphans.
In a statement, the organisers said that of late, many orphanages were grappling with increasing obstacles owing to the lack of consistent funding and community support.
The limited funding, it said, meant that these orphanages were not able to provide the most basic needs for the children under their care.
Meanwhile, young graduates were finding it more and more difficult to secure jobs, with some forced to drop out of universities due to the rising costs of living and financial strain.
“These are the quiet struggles unfolding all around us.”
ROLF said the Oct 18 performance is a platform for children and youths who were enduring challenges to express themselves as well as to be seen and heard.
And by including orphans and students, ROLF said, they were looking to build confidence, raise awareness and open doors to opportunities via art and community involvement.
“This event is more than just a show. It’s about connection, compassion and meaningful change.”
Apart from the dance performance, Saturday’s event would also feature the ROLF Gold Ribbon Grant-A-Wish Campaign, which will see a meet-and-greet session between the children and donors.
