In a statement, the ministry said the use of such toys was immoral and could undermine the values and norms of Malaysian society.
The toys, worth an estimated RM146,000, were destroyed after the court ordered their forfeiture under Section 19(1) of the Printing Presses and Publications Act 1984.
The ministry said the sex toys were destroyed in line with its guidelines on the disposal of such materials.
“This ensures that the sex toys are completely destroyed and no longer functional,” it said.
The ministry said it would continue to take stern action against any party involved in printing, importing, producing, publishing, selling, or distributing prohibited materials that threaten morality, national security, or public interest.
