KUANTAN: Four members of the Pahang police, one of them a woman, were detained after testing positive for drugs during a raid at an entertainment outlet here yesterday.
Pahang police chief Yahaya Othman said the arrests were carried out by the Bukit Aman integrity unit. “I can confirm the case and further investigation is under way,” he said.
The four, comprising two officers and two rank-and-file personnel aged between 30 and 40, were found in a karaoke room when the raid was conducted.
It is understood that they were released on police bail after their statements were recorded.
