Upko president Ewon Benedick said the matter is still under discussion and no decision has been made yet by the PH presidential council.
“We want PH to have an emphasis on the Sabah spirit, which is why Upko has proposed to use its own logo. I believe our fellow PH leaders understand Upko’s position on this matter,” he said.
“For me, as long as discussions are ongoing, let them continue until a decision is made. Once there is a decision, we will announce it,” he told reporters in Kota Kinabalu, Bernama reported.
There has been speculation that Upko would contest under its own logo in the coming elections.
Ewon also confirmed that he would be defending the Kadamaian seat in the coming polls.
