Unlike conventional chatbots or limited-function AI tools, Team M8 was designed as an intelligent digital agent that can operate across a range of sectors – from customer service and HR training to education, consultancy, tax advisory, and media.
It leverages advanced machine learning, natural language processing, and avatar-based branding to deliver realistic, multilingual, and scalable interactions for businesses of all sizes.
TM8 co-founder and director Farouk Nurish said the company’s mission is to make advanced AI accessible and practical for all organisations.
“With Team M8, our goal is simple yet ambitious – to make advanced AI accessible, adaptable, and scalable for businesses of all sizes,” he said in a statement.
“We believe Malaysia can lead the way in building AI solutions that are locally made but globally relevant.”
TM8 commercial director Faiz Samion said Team M8 is different from other AI products due to its “agentic” capability – its ability to operate autonomously and integrate seamlessly into business operations.
“It integrates seamlessly into operations, whether in an SME or a multinational, helping businesses cut costs, scale efficiently, and deliver better customer engagement,” he said.
During the launch last month, TM8 partners unveiled applications powered by Team M8 that highlighted the platform’s potential.
Invatex Consulting Sdn Bhd presented an upcoming AI-powered tax advisory service, which aims to simplify tax compliance and broaden access to financial literacy.
Scheduled for launch next month, the service is designed to benefit individuals, corporations, professionals and students.
STV Digital, meanwhile, introduced Pop Media, an AI-powered media ecosystem combining streaming entertainment, digital marketplaces, and an AI-driven news aggregator app.
Expected to roll out in early 2026, Pop Media will offer personalised user experiences driven by Team M8’s adaptive intelligence.
