PUTRAJAYA:
A total of 72 schools in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur will conduct home-based teaching and learning from Oct 27 to Oct 28 for the upcoming 47th Asean Summit, says education minister Fadhlina Sidek.

“School activities in the 72 schools will continue as usual through online learning,” she told reporters after an anti-bullying town hall today.

Fadhlina’s aide said the list of affected schools will be released at a later date.

The 47th Asean Summit and related events will take place from Oct 26 to Oct 28, with participation from key leaders across Asia, Europe, Canada, Africa and Latin America.

A total of 71 schools in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor also shifted to online learning during the 46th Asean Summit in May.
