Negeri Sembilan police chief Alzafny Ahmad said the autopsy found no other injuries on the victim’s body, Utusan Malaysia reported.
“So far, 27 statements have been recorded and a thorough investigation is under way, including identifying what led to the incident up to the point the victim was discovered unconscious in the school toilet.
“The police urge for space to conduct a transparent investigation, with full regard for the sensitivities involved when children are concerned,” he was quoted as saying.
Earlier today, Alzafny said police are investigating the Year Four student’s death under the anti-bullying law and Section 507C of the Penal Code for threatening and abusive behaviour.
He said after the boy was found unconscious, he was taken to a private clinic where he was pronounced dead.
