PETALING JAYA:
Six stations serving the Putrajaya MRT Line are temporarily closed due to a power supply disruption.

Operator Rapid Rail said repair work is ongoing at Taman Equine, Putra Permai, 16 Sierra, Cyberjaya Utara, Cyberjaya City Centre and Putrajaya Sentral.

“The repair and recovery works following the power supply disruption at six stations on the Putrajaya line are still being carried out and are expected to last until the end of operating hours today,” Rapid Rail said in a statement.

“We apologise for the inconvenience and thank the public for their patience.”

Other stations on the line remain in service as usual.

Rapid Rail said the number of free shuttle buses operating non-stop between UPM station and Putrajaya Sentral station had been doubled from 10 to 20.

The company added that more than 100 frontline staff, including station personnel and auxiliary police, had been deployed at the affected stations to assist passengers.
