
The ministry said 1,790 companies possessing 5,449 vehicles servicing both the public and goods transport sectors have submitted their applications between Sept 15 and yesterday.
“As of yesterday, 164 companies involving 249 vehicles have completed their SKPS registration. This comprises 103 companies with 106 vehicles in the public transport sector, and 61 companies with 143 vehicles in the goods transport sector,” it said in a statement this morning.
Previously, the ministry estimated that about 100,000 vehicles nationwide were eligible to apply for registration to benefit from the RON95 subsidy.
Registration may be made via the portal https://mysubsidi.kpdn.gov.my.
