Electricity to be rationed in Tawau from today

Sabah Electricity says the duration and timing of supply may vary.

PETALING JAYA:
Sabah Electricity has implemented a four-shift electricity rationing schedule for Tawau from today.

In a statement, the utility company said each shift will involve a supply period of three hours and will cover certain areas, Bernama reported.

For Shift 1, supply is scheduled from midnight to 3am and again from noon to 3pm.

This will involve Kampung Pasir Putih Blok A and Blok B, Taman Wawasan, Genting Mas Mall Jalan Utara, Kampung Muhibbah Bal, Taman Sawit 1, 2 and 3, and Jalan Apas Batu 17.

Shift 2 will run from 3am to 6am and 3pm to 6pm.

This will involve Taman Air Panas, Taman Rainbow, Taman Desa Ranggu, Batu 2 Lorong Saddani, Bandar Sri Indah Fasa 4B (Type A and B) and Taman Apas Permai 1 and 2.

Shift 3 will be from 6am to 9am and 6pm to 9pm.

This involves Tanjung Batu Keramat, the Klinik Kesihatan Malaysia office and its quarters, the new market, Taman Megah Ria, the General Operations Force quarters and Taman Muhibbah Indah.

Shift 4 will be from 9am to noon and 9pm to midnight.

This involves Unijaya Air Panas, Kampung Wakuba Gading, Taman Sejati, Taman King Fook, Sin Onn Tiku, Giant supermarket and LA Hotel.

Sabah Electricity said the duration and timing of supply may vary, depending on the condition of Tawau’s electricity network at any given time.
