SEMPORNA: A soldier was found dead, while another is still missing following a military operation on Mataking Island near here yesterday.
Private Irfan Haiqal Abdullah, 20, was found unconscious and pronounced dead at the scene, while private Zulkarnain Jaffar, 27, is still missing, believed drowned.
A statement from joint task force 2 headquarters said the two soldiers were carrying out an exercise on Mataking Island before being reported missing.
