PETALING JAYA: A 70-year-old man and his son were killed in a fire which broke out at their home in Sungai Buloh early this morning.
In a statement, the Sungai Buloh fire and rescue department said Kaw Sing Chai and his son, Kaw Swee Fatt, 50, were found dead in their single-storey terrace house in Kampung Sri Indah.
The department said it received a call about the fire at 12.50am and managed to put out the blaze, which destroyed about 80% of the home, by 3.40am.
Two cars, a Perodua Alza and a Perodua Kancil, were also damaged in the fire.
