The Langkawi Special Deals campaign, which will run from October to December this year, offers attractive packages and rebates on flights, hotels, attractions, duty-free shopping and other tourism services.
Travellers can also look forward to exclusive discounts of up to 70% on selected products and services from participating partners, said Lada in a statement.
Through MHholidays, the tour operating arm of Malaysia Airlines, travellers can enjoy flight and hotel promotions with savings of up to RM400. MAG’s lifestyle platform, Journify, will also provide a further RM30 rebate on Langkawi tours and attractions for package buyers.
The MoU also seeks to strengthen collaboration among local tourism stakeholders by consolidating efforts on a single promotional platform that positions Langkawi as a high-value, attractive destination.
The MoU was signed by Lada CEO Iskandar Kaus and MAG’s CEO of Loyalty and Travel Services, Philip See, and witnessed by deputy finance minister Lim Hui Ying at the Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur.
Lim said the initiative aligned with the country’s preparations for Visit Malaysia Year 2026, adding that strategic promotions, innovative collaborations and community involvement were key to sustaining tourism growth.
Iskandar said the campaign would help unite Langkawi’s tourism players under a single branded platform and attract more visitors to the island. “We intend to make this an annual highlight for Langkawi,” he said.
See, meanwhile, said MAG was honoured to partner with Lada in strengthening Langkawi’s position as one of Malaysia’s most iconic destinations.
Lada said more campaign partners would be announced in the coming months.
