Man stabbed to death outside Senawang home

Police say the stabbing was due to a misunderstanding between the suspect and victim.

PETALING JAYA:
A 28-year-old man died yesterday evening after being stabbed in the chest outside a house in Senawang, Seremban, in Negeri Sembilan.

Seremban police chief Hatta Che Din said the incident, which occurred at around 7pm yesterday, saw the victim stabbed with a knife following a misunderstanding with the suspect, 31.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by a medical officer.

“Police arrested the suspect with the help of members of the public. A knife was also seized.

“The motive for the stabbing is still under investigation,” Hatta said in a statement.

The suspect has been remanded until Aug 18.
