SEREMBAN: A teenage boy on his way to work was killed when his motorcycle was hit by a car along Jalan Temiang, near the Bukit Jong junction, early this morning.
Seremban police chief Hatta Che Din said the hit-and-run occurred at 6.45am. The 17‑year‑old victim died at the scene from severe head injuries.
“The collision occurred when the victim, who worked at a petrol station, was riding his motorcycle from Temiang towards Seremban.
“Upon reaching the scene, a Mercedes‑Benz driven by a 27‑year‑old man is believed to have gone out of control and veered into the opposite lane before colliding head‑on with the victim,” he said in a statement.
He said the driver abandoned the car and fled the scene.
Police are tracking down the suspect.
