PETALING JAYA:
Police have arrested six men to assist in investigations into a brawl that happened at Jalan Kebun Sultan in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, in May.

Kelantan police chief Yusoff Mamat said the men, in their 20s and 30s, were arrested at about 3.30pm yesterday when they surrendered themselves at the Kota Bharu police headquarters.

“A four-day remand order has been obtained for all six of them, effective until Sunday. Investigations are ongoing,” he said in a statement.

On May 29, Kota Bharu police chief Rosdi Daud said police were looking for the suspects involved in the brawl.

A video of the fight was uploaded on Facebook and preliminary investigations found that the incident occurred on May 23, at about 4.30am.

The one-minute-and-25-second video shows a group of men getting out of two cars and assaulting several people at the scene.
