PETALING JAYA: The price of RON97 petrol will drop by four sen to RM3.17 per litre from RM3.21 in the coming week.
In a statement, the finance ministry said RON95 stays at RM2.05 per litre, while diesel remains at RM2.91 per litre in Peninsular Malaysia, and RM2.15 per litre in Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan.
These prices will be in effect until Aug 6.
The ministry said the government would continue to monitor global crude oil price trends and take appropriate measures to ensure the people’s continued welfare and wellbeing.
