Sentul police chief Sukarno Zahari said a report was received over the incident, which happened at Jalan Metro Perdana Barat 2 in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. He did not specify when it occurred.
“It is believed to have been triggered by a double-parking situation that obstructed traffic flow on the road,” Sukarno said in a statement.
A 17-second video of the incident showed a man giving the middle finger to the driver of a car, who recorded the incident.
The man later headed back to his car, which was seen double parked in front of a home improvement store.
The driver of the first car, a man, was heard saying “Let’s make him famous” several times. His passenger, who also recorded the incident, yelled to the passenger in the other car: “I’ll make you go viral!”
