PETALING JAYA: Resorts World Genting has confirmed that a brawl involving several men took place at its SkyAvenue shopping mall in Genting Highlands yesterday.
The resort operator said it has lodged a police report over the incident and urged the public against speculating on it.
“We take this incident seriously and are giving our full cooperation to the police and the authorities in their investigation,” it said in a statement.
A video of the brawl has been making the rounds online, showing two groups of men attacking and hurling metal signs at each other.
Bentong police chief Zaiham Kahar confirmed the incident and said the case is being investigated for rioting with arms, and that the police are tracking down the suspects involved.
