2 missing men found dead in Ayer Tawar, Perak

The cases of the duo, who were unrelated, have been classified as sudden deaths.

Two men reported missing were found dead separately around Ayer Tawar in Beruas, Perak, today.

Manjung police chief Hasbullah Abd Rahman said the Ayer Tawar station received reports on the disappearances of the unidentified duo yesterday.

He said the first victim, aged 50, was reported to have left his home yesterday, while the second, aged 55, had not returned home since June 27.

“At 9.39am today, police were informed that the first victim was found unconscious at an oil palm plantation on Jalan Taman Sri Perak.

“The second victim was found in an empty house in Taman Biru at 8.30am. His body was found in a state of decomposition,” Sinar Harian reported him as saying.

Both bodies were sent to the Seri Manjung Hospital’s forensic unit.

He said both victims were unrelated, and the cases were classified as sudden deaths.
