PETALING JAYA:
Police have arrested two more people suspected of blocking the North-South Expressway (PLUS) near the Pedas-Linggi rest area.

Rembau district police chief Hasani Hussain said the suspects, aged 31 and 35, were arrested late last night after they went to the station to give a statement, Berita Harian reported.

“Both suspects are believed to have been in one of the three cars that were seen blocking the highway in the viral video,” he was quoted as saying.

“For now, no items have been seized and an investigation is ongoing to determine their roles in the incident.”

Hasani said the two men have been remanded until tomorrow, while the first suspect arrested earlier will remain in custody until Tuesday.

He said police believe several more individuals, including those suspected to be vehicle repossession agents, are at large.

“We are completing the investigation paper before submitting it to the deputy public prosecutor,” he said.
