Dispute over messy room led to man being killed, say cops

PETALING JAYA:
The 33-year-old man who was stabbed to death in Kampung Kubu Gajah, Sungai Buloh, on Wednesday, was allegedly killed by his housemate following a dispute over a messy room.

Sungai Buloh police chief Hafiz Nor said the pair, from Kelantan, had been staying at the house for about six months prior to the incident.

On Wednesday night, an argument broke out between the two over the condition of the room before the victim was stabbed.

Hafiz added that the suspect, 40, tested positive for drugs, Berita Harian reported.

The suspect has been remanded until July 1 and will be investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
