PUTRAJAYA: Transport minister Loke Siew Fook confirmed that Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim chaired a Cabinet meeting this afternoon.
However, he said the meeting held at 2pm did not discuss the resignations of economy minister Rafizi Ramli and natural resources and environmental sustainability minister Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad.
“Yes. There was a meeting with the prime minister at 2pm today. That’s why I was late. I was not informed of any Cabinet changes.
“The prime minister said the transport minister will remain in the post,” he said in jest to reporters after chairing the National Logistics Task Force’s meeting here today.
