
Buletin TV3 reported that the truck was carrying 28 security personnel on duty at the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (Lima) 2025.
A Kedah fire and rescue department spokesman said the incident occurred near the three-way junction of Jalan Teluk Baru and Pantai Cenang.
He said the department received an emergency call at 3pm and sent a team that arrived at the scene about five minutes later.
“The accident involved a navy lorry, a Toyota Avanza, two Perodua Axia cars and a Perodua Viva.
“A total of 30 victims were involved. Three of those injured have been admitted to the hospital. One of them suffered a neck injury,” he said.
Berita RTM reported that 25 personnel are receiving treatment at the Resorts World Langkawi medical room, while two others were referred to the Sultanah Maliha Hospital for leg injuries.
The navy said an investigation board has been established to identify the cause of the incident.
