Driver dies in 2-lorry crash in Seremban

Police say the 56-year-old died at the scene after sustaining severe head injuries.

PETALING JAYA:
A man died after the lorry he was driving rammed into the rear of another lorry carrying gas on KM244.8 of the North-South Expressway (southbound) in Seremban today.

The driver, 56, died of severe head injuries at the scene in the 6.10am incident, Sinar Harian reported.

Seremban police chief Hatta Che Din said both lorries were on their way from Kuala Lumpur to Johor Bahru.

The driver of the other lorry was uninjured.

Hatta said the victim’s body was sent to Rembau Hospital’s forensic department for an autopsy.

He said the case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for causing death by reckless and dangerous driving.
