PETALING JAYA: Two vehicles were damaged after a tree fell along Jalan Penaga in Bangsar this afternoon.
The Kuala Lumpur fire and rescue department said it received an emergency call on the incident at around 3pm and promptly dispatched a team from the Pantai fire and rescue station to the scene.
Operations commander Ramli Mohd said the incident occurred in front of two houses, with the tree falling onto a Perodua Myvi and a Mitsubishi Triton.
“There were no casualties,” he said.
Ramli said the tree was removed from the scene following a cleanup carried out with the assistance of Kuala Lumpur City Hall.
The operation concluded at 4.38pm.
