The Kuala Lumpur fire and rescue department said 15 personnel and two fire engines from the TTDI and Sri Hartamas fire stations were dispatched to the scene after an emergency call received at 7.18am.
Operations commander Azkhan Hamdan said his team conducted an initial safety assessment upon arrival.
“The incident also damaged two vehicles and parts of the school building, including classrooms, teachers’ rooms, toilets, and the library,” he was quoted as saying by Berita Harian.
No injuries were reported. The case has been handed over to Kuala Lumpur City Hall for further action.
Landslides were also reported in Sri Petaling and Cheras, but no casualties were reported there, either.
“Operations are ongoing at both locations, and updates will be provided from time to time,” Azkhan said.
