SHAH ALAM:
One motorcyclist died while two others were seriously injured after crashing their motorcycles into a car at a junction in Kampung Raja Uda, Klang, this morning.

Klang Selatan police chief Ramli Kasa said a 22-year-old died at the scene while two others, aged 22 and 16, suffered serious injuries.

He said the injured pair were taken to hospital in Klang. The car driver did not suffer any injuries.

“The incident at around 4.10am is believed to have occurred when the car, which was headed from Port Klang towards Jalan Kim Chuan, had approached the Kampung Raja Uda junction and turned right when the traffic light turned green.

“While the car was turning, a group of motorcyclists travelling towards Port Klang did not stop when the traffic light turned red, crashing into the car as a result,” he said in a statement.

A viral video of the incident recorded the chaotic aftermath of the crash at the Kampung Raja Uda junction, with a group of motorcyclists gathering near the car involved.

Ramli urged members of the public with information on the case to contact the cops.
