PETALING JAYA:
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has appointed Pahang menteri besar Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail as a special adviser to the national entrepreneur and SME development council (NESDC).

Anwar said Wan Rosdy has performed commendably well in serving the people of Pahang as their menteri besar, Bernama reported.

He said Wan Rosdy will assist him and deputy prime minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi in engaging entrepreneurs across the nation and looking at ways to improve the status of Bumiputera businesses and entrepreneurs.

“(Wan Rosdy) has never asked for projects for himself. What he brought up in the meeting earlier was all related to the people,” said Anwar, referring to a special meeting he chaired concerning Pahang’s development.

Wan Rosdy, the five-term Jelai assemblyman, is serving his second term as Pahang menteri besar.
