JOHOR BAHRU:
Repair work on potholes at about 800 hotspots that were damaged due to floods in Johor is expected to be completed within two days starting today.

State executive councillor Fazli Salleh said the work will be carried out in Johor Bahru, Kota Tinggi, Pontian, Kluang and Kulai.

“Most of the hotspots (about 500) are in Johor Bahru district. We will ensure that all these locations can be restored within that period,” he told reporters after inspecting damaged roads on the Pasir Gudang Expressway here today.

Fazli said repairs would be carried out on the bridge link in Kampung Felda Air Tawar 1 which collapsed and damaged the structure of the Sungai Layau bridge in Kota Tinggi district.
