PETALING JAYA: Police have launched an investigation after a video of a man engaging in lewd behaviour in the library of a private university in Subang Jaya had gone viral.
Subang Jaya police chief Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said they received a report last night about two videos which had made their rounds on social media.
He said that in one video, the man was seen on the private university’s campus grounds, surrounded by a group of students recording him with their phones.
He said a preliminary investigation of a video recording showed a man believed to be a student apparently pleasuring himself in the library while watching a video on a computer.
He said the case is being investigated for engaging in obscene behaviour in public, and for insulting behaviour.
He urged anyone with information to come forward to assist in the investigation.
