PETALING JAYA:
Singaporeans have been advised by their immigration department to postpone any non-essential trips to Johor Bahru that they had planned during the March school holidays.

With the Tuas and Woodlands checkpoints experiencing “very heavy” traffic today, Singapore’s Immigration and Checkpoints Authority said this congestion was expected to continue over the weekend.

It said continuous rain over the past two days has also contributed to the congestion at the land checkpoints, Bernama reported.

“Departing travellers have had to wait over two hours for immigration clearance,” the ICA said.
