
PETALING JAYA: Police have arrested two men and confiscated a homemade shotgun, six rounds of ammunition, and 6.18g of methamphetamine after raiding a house on an oil palm plantation in Tanjung Manis in Sibu, Sarawak, on Sunday.
Sibu police chief Zulkipli Suhaili said the two suspects, aged 20 and 35, had been placed under remand, The Borneo Post reported.
He said the case is being probed under Section 39A of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 as well as Section 8(a) of the Arms Act 1960 for possessing a firearm without a licence or permit.
