PETALING JAYA: An elderly man died after collapsing at a Ramadan bazaar in Baling, Kedah, this afternoon. The man, Zainon Said, 75, was found unconscious at the bazaar at about 4.30pm.
Baling police chief Azmi Mokhtar said a police team which arrived at the scene found that the man had died, Berita Harian reported.
“An interview with one of his children showed that he had a history of chronic diseases,” said Azmi. Further investigations found no foul play. “The body was taken back to the victim’s home in Kampung Banggol Asam Jawa for burial,” he said.
