PETALING JAYA:
YoloFoods, a nutritious meal provider, is collaborating with Perjim, an NGO, to promote healthier eating habits among the underprivileged communities in Klang Valley.

The “Madani Meals” initiative, which kicks off today, will provide nutritious, ready-to-eat meals delivered by Perjim.

YoloFoods group sales and business development director Lim Sheng Feixiang said the initiative is part of its corporate social responsibility efforts.

“At YoloFoods, we believe that everyone deserves access to healthier dietary meals.

“By launching the ‘Madani Meals’ initiative, we are giving our customers the opportunity to directly contribute to a cause that positively impacts both individuals and communities in need,” Lim said in a statement.

Lim said for every order placed by a customer, YoloFoods will sponsor one “Madani Meal,” which will be distributed by Perjim to families and individuals in need.

Perjim chairman Aidi Amin believes that their collaboration with YoloFoods can help reset the baseline for a healthier diet across different segments of society.

“I am grateful for the commitment shown by YoloFoods in helping the underserved communities to improve their quality of life.”

Separately, in a Facebook post, Aidi said that for the next six months YoloFoods will provide a monthly supply of 200 ready-to-eat meal packets.

Perjim would also provide extra packets if necessary, he added.
