KOTA TINGGI: A Form Six student was killed after losing control of her car which skidded and plunged into a 25-foot deep ravine at KM32 of Jalan Lok Heng-Mawai here, yesterday.
Kota Tinggi district police chief Yusof Othman said the 19-year-old victim, identified as Nur Adnin Sabtu, died at the scene due to severe head injuries.
He said the police were informed about the crash at about 6.50pm.
In a statement, he said the body was sent to the forensic unit of Kota Tinggi Hospital for a post-mortem.
The case is being investigated under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
