PETALING JAYA:
A tuition teacher was found dead with injury marks on her neck and arms at a shoplot on Jalan Chung Ah Ming, Taman Hoover, Ipoh, yesterday.

Ipoh police acting chief Sajidan Abdul Sukor said the woman’s husband filed a police report regarding the incident at 5.30pm, Bernama reported.

Initial investigations revealed the victim had left a message for her husband expressing distress over severe pain following an eye surgery she underwent on Feb 19.

“We believe she had been dead for more than six hours before her body was discovered,” he said.

Sajidan said a folding knife was found near the victim, but no signs of foul play were detected. The case has been classified as sudden death.

He also said the victim reportedly developed an eye infection after surgery, which may have contributed to her emotional distress.
