PETALING JAYA:
Sabah chief minister Hajiji Noor has asked Sabahans to give his government another chance to continue leading the state and carry out its Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) roadmap.

Hajiji said SMJ 2.0 aimed for holistic progress for all.

“The state government has created a clear and comprehensive policy that is the best for the state and all its people.

“We have created the SMJ roadmap according to (the public’s) current needs and desires. We are aiming for holistic progress and the well-being of every layer of society.

“If this government returns to rule, we will improve and make the implementation of the SMJ roadmap a success,” he said in a statement issued in conjunction with his speech at the Sabah International Convention Centre in Kota Kinabalu today.

Hajiji also placed importance on strengthening federal-state relations, saying Sabah’s collaboration with the federal government has helped resolve key issues, including those related to the Malaysia Agreement 1963 and the state’s collaboration with Petronas.

He expressed gratitude to civil servants for their support and called for continued unity to achieve Sabah’s vision of becoming a progressive and prosperous state.

“With open hearts and minds, I hope this government will be given another chance by the people to continue governing this blessed state,” he said.
