PETALING JAYA: Police shot dead a man believed to be the suspect behind the recent shooting at the Setia City Mall early this morning.
Selangor police chief Hussein Omar Khan said the suspect, in his mid-30s, was shot dead after an exchange of fire in a 3am raid at a hotel in Pulau Ketam, Klang.
“The police also seized two loaded firearms in his possession,” Hussein said in a statement.
Hussein added that the man had possessed a record of nine offences, including seven armed robberies.
