Maybank appoints Malique Firdauz as acting CFO

In a Bursa Malaysia filing, the bank says its previous CFO Khalijah Ismail left her position pursuant to an internal inquiry.

Malique Firdauz Ahmad Sidique has been appointed as Malayan Banking Bhd’s (Maybank) acting chief financial officer (CFO).

In a Bursa Malaysia filing yesterday, the bank said its previous CFO Khalijah Ismail stepped down pursuant to an internal inquiry.

“The process of identifying a new group CFO for Maybank has commenced and is under way.

“In the interim, Malique Firdauz will assume the position of acting group CFO with effect from Feb 17,” the filing said.
