PETALING JAYA: A 59-year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her husband of 37 years to death at an apartment in Kajang, Selangor, yesterday morning.
Kajang police chief Naazron Abdul Yusof said police were informed of the incident by a member of the public at 11.05am, and the 60-year-old victim was confirmed dead at the scene with multiple stab wounds.
He said the man’s wife, a Malaysian, was arrested and has been remanded until Feb 21.
“A misunderstanding between the couple is believed to have been the cause of the incident,” he said in a statement.
