A person believed to be a transgender pleaded not guilty in the Kuala Lumpur sessions court today to offering sexual services and selling pornographic videos to a police officer for RM120 in September last year.

She was charged with advertising and offering sexual services and selling pornographic videos and images for the purpose of prostitution via X to a police officer with the rank of corporal for RM120.

The offence was allegedly committed in front of a hotel along Jalan Klang Lama at 11.30am on Sept 9, 2024.

She was charged under Section 372(1)(e) of the Penal Code, which provides for up to 15 years’ imprisonment, whipping and a fine if convicted.
