King departs for treatment abroad

Istana Negara urges the people to pray for Sultan Ibrahim's swift recovery.

KUALA LUMPUR:
Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim has left the country to seek medical treatment abroad.

Sultan Ibrahim was accompanied by his sons, Tunku Abdul Rahman and Tunku Abu Bakar.

In a statement on Sultan Ibrahim’s official Facebook page, Istana Negara confirmed that the matter had been communicated to the Conference of Rulers and the federal government.

It also urged the people to pray for the king’s swift recovery and continued good health.
