PETALING JAYA:
Gateway Development Alliance (GDA) has once again extended the closing time and date for the acceptance of its offer to privatise Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB).

According to AmInvestment Bank’s filing with Bursa Malaysia on behalf of the consortium, the closing time and date has been extended from 5pm, Jan 17 to 5pm, Jan 24.

It said GDA holds 86.18% in MAHB as of 5pm today.

This marks the second extension after the consortium on Jan 6 extended the initial deadline from Jan 8 to Jan 17.

“Save for the extended closing date, all other details, terms and conditions of the offer as set out in the offer document, including the offer price (i.e. RM11 per MAHB share) and the acceptance condition (i.e. 90% of the total issued MAHB shares) remain unchanged,” said the filing.

GDA comprises the Employees Provident Fund, Khazanah Nasional Bhd-backed UEM Group Bhd, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and BlackRock-owned Global Infrastructure Partners.
