PETALING JAYA: The meteorological department (MetMalaysia) today issued an alert-level continuous rain warning in six states for three days, starting from Jan 10.
The six states are Terengganu, Pahang, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor and Sarawak, according to a Bernama report quoting a statement from the department.
The areas expected to be affected in Terengganu are Hulu Terengganu, Marang, Dungun and Kemaman; in Pahang the areas are Maran, Kuantan, Bera, Pekan and Rompin; in Negeri Sembilan the areas are Kuala Pilah, Jempol and Tampin; in Sarawak the areas are Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Kapit and Bintulu; as well as all of Melaka and Johor.
