JOHOR BAHRU: Three children were among eight people injured after their car collided with a trailer at Jalan Mersing Nitar near Felda Nitar 1, Mersing.
Mersing fire and rescue department commander Shamsuri Shafai said a rescue team who arrived at the location at 3.21pm found that the accident involved a Toyota Caldina MPV and a Volvo trailer lorry.
“The team used rescue equipment to bring all eight victims out of the Toyota Caldina, including the driver who was trapped,” he said in a statement. The trailer driver was unharmed.
