MELAKA:
Melaka chief minister Ab Rauf Yusoh has confirmed that he will be reshuffling the portfolios of members of the state executive council, with no new appointments to the council.

“I am maintaining the existing exco. Only their portfolios have changed, to ease their burden because some hold four or five portfolios,” he told reporters after the state assembly sitting today.

Rauf was commenting on a recent report of a reshuffle in January, supposedly to promote other elected representatives.

The state exco consists of nine assemblymen from Barisan Nasional and one from Pakatan Harapan.
