Man caught with fake pistols, drugs and military patches in Kelantan

PETALING JAYA:
A man was arrested for possessing two imitation pistols, military patches and drugs valued at RM6,580 during a routine check in Rantau Panjang, Kelantan.

General Operations Force (GOF) southeast brigade commander Nik Ros Azhan Nik Ab Hamid said the 24-year-old was detained on Sunday by personnel from GOF’s 9th Battalion.

They were patrolling the area when they noticed the man riding a motorcycle in a suspicious manner.

“During an inspection, they found a Glock-type imitation pistol, a packet of airsoft pellets and 268 Epam pills,” he was quoted by Harian Metro as saying.

Police also seized epaulettes, a T-shirt and a military patch in the suspect’s possession.

Following the arrest, police raided a house in Kampung Kok Batu, Rantau Panjang, where they found another Glock-type imitation pistol, another packet of airsoft pellets, 234 more Epam pills, eight yaba pills and other military rank epaulettes.
